K-pop boy group TXT is gearing up to make history as the first K-pop group to headline the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago.
Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai will take the stage at 8.30pm Chicago time (10.30am KST). Their performance will also be streamed online on YouTube and WeVerse Live.
Fans around the world are already hyped for the event, with the hashtag #TXTPALOOZA D-DAY trending on X (formerly Twitter).
This will be TXT’s second time at Lollapalooza. Last year, they became the first ever K-pop group to perform at the festival.
Their success has helped pave the way for other K-pop groups. NEWJEANS made their international performance debut at Lollapalooza on Aug 3.
Fans at Lollapalooza will be the first in the world to hear a live performance of Do It Like That, TXT’s collaboration with the US group The Jonas Brothers. The song debuted on Billboard and iTunes charts at number one in July.
TXT’s festival set list will also feature their track Happy Fools.
