K-pop boy group TXT set the Lollapalooza stage ablaze during their Sunday night performance, making it an unforgettable night for fans.
TXT members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai were in their element, delivering an energetic performance that got the crowd screaming.
They also made history by becoming the first K-pop act to headline the music festival. They made the most of their time onstage, performing a total of 21 songs. Fans had spent the days before their performance trying to guess their setlist, but TXT still managed to surprise.
Their Lollapalooza performance included older hits like 0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) and Dear Sputnik. They also performed tracks off their latest The Name Chapter: Temptation EP, such as Devil by the Window, Tinnitus (Wanna Be a Rock), and Farewell, Neverland. There was something for every fan to enjoy.
The boys were able to let loose and have fun during their performance. Besides breaking out their signature high-energy dance moves, they also played with fire (literally) with Beomgyu setting a rose on fire during a performance of their song Good Boy Gone Bad.
TXT also had help from a special guest. US rapper Coi Leray appeared onstage to perform their collaborative track Happy Fools, and they also performed a cover of her own track Players.
Not even a burst of rain could dampen the mood for the crowd. By the time TXT ended their set with Do It Like That, a duet with The Jonas Brothers, and Sugar Rush Ride, they had already cemented their position as one of the best acts of this year’s festival.
TXT also shared some photographs from the night on their social media, with the message: “Back at #Lollapalooza as a headliner! So happy to have you guys there!”
