Despite the recent drama over the World Scout Jamboree, the much-anticipated K-pop Super Live concert went off without a hitch. Not even the ever-present falling rain could dampen the spirits of the 40,000 scouts who cheered and sang along to some of K-pop’s hottest idols.
The concert, which was postponed nearly a week from its original date, kicked off in spectacular fashion. The event was emceed by ITZY’s Yuna, NEWJEANS’ Hyein, and actor Gong Myung, who kept audiences entertained with their banter.
Scouts were entertained with performances by IVE, NEWJEANS, NCT DREAM, ITZY, MAMAMOO, THE BOYZ, SHOWNU X HYUNGWON, FROMIS_9, ZEROBASEONE, P1HARMONY, KARD, THE NEW SIX (TNX), ATBO, XIKERS, LIBELANTE, Kang Daniel, Kwon Eun-Bi, Jo Yu-Ri and dance crew HOLYBANG.
Due to the number of acts, each performance was kept short, with only one to two songs per artist. Despite this, everyone made sure to maximize their time and deliver the best performance they could for the scouts. THE NEW SIX and ITZY even performed wearing scouts outfits.
