RIIZE to perform at KCON LA ahead of debut

Rookie K-pop boy group RIIZE is set to perform at KCON LA, their first US performance before their official debut. Fans can catch the boys during the Showcase: Nice to Meet You segment at the music event on Aug 20, 2023 at 4.30PM PST.

This is RIIZE’s first live performance, and they will perform their pre-release track Memories, as well Siren for the KCON LA audience.

Memories will be released on Aug 21, and is about “the unforgettable moment of youth when one takes a great leap forward into the world.” Siren is a familiar track to fans, as the boys have released teaser music videos of their choreography over the past few weeks. The most recent performance video reached 2.7 million views on YouTube.

RIIZE, which will debut on Sept 4, comprises seven members: Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton. Both Sunghan and Shotaro originally debuted with NCT, prior to joining RIIZE.

RIIZE is a combination of “rise” and “realize”, which signifies their mission to grow and achieve their dreams.

Their debut coincides with the release of their single album, Get A Guitar. The single album contains two tracks, Memories and the title track. It will be available in both physical and digital format.

Fans have been looking forward to seeing what RIIZE has to offer. The group is SM Entertainment’s first boy group in 7 years. RIIZE also made headlines earlier this month when they reached 1 million followers on Instagram within 4 days.
