K-pop supergroup NCT has made an electrifying return with all its members, dropping their highly-anticipated fourth studio album, Golden Age. The album was officially released on Aug 28, 2023 at 6PM KST, accompanied by the dazzling music video for Baggy Jeans, one of the album’s two main tracks.
This album marks NCT’s triumphant return after a hiatus of almost two years since Universe in December 2021. What makes Golden Age even more spectacular is that it involves all 20 members of the group. It also includes songs performed by the group’s three subunits, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV.
The album has a total of 10 captivating songs, including lead tracks Golden Age and Baggy Jeans. Golden Age was pre-released on Aug 23, along with a music video. The melody reworks parts of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 8, and the lyrics are about NCT entering their “golden age”, promising a brighter future for all.
NCT U show off their Baggy Jeans
The second song, Baggy Jeans, is a dynamic hip-hop dance track that showcases the distinctive vocals of NCT U members Taeyong, Ten, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Mark. The track also brings together the sub-unit after a break of 7 years.
The song’s lyrics draw parallels between their confidence and the iconic baggy jeans that radiate a unique sense of coolness. It is a solid hip-hop track that allows members Doyoung, Jaehyun, Mark, Taeyong and Ten to display their vocal skills. The music video also has them show off their slick dance moves in stylish denim outfits.

NCT Nation tour continues
Prior to the album release, the group thrilled fans by kicking off their first-ever in-person concert, which saw the participation of all members since their debut in 2016. The stage came alive at Munhak Stadium in Incheon, located in the west of Seoul, marking the beginning of their NCT Nation: To the World tour.
Fans can look forward to more electrifying performances as the tour continues at Nagai Stadium in Osaka on Sept 9 to 10, and Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo on Sept 16 to 17. NCT is set to take the world by storm with their music and unparalleled stage presence once again!
