The cast of A Good Day To Be A Dog
Park Gyu-Young plays Han Hae-Na, a high school teacher who turns into a dog when kissed. She must kiss the same person while in dog form in order to turn back.
Cha Eun-Woo plays Jin Seo-Won, Hae-Na’s colleague who is terrified of dogs. He accidentally kisses her during a drinking session, and has to help her return to being human.
Also there was actor Lee Hyun-Woo. He plays Lee Bo-Gyeom, a man whose friendly demeanor hides a dark secret. His character will cause some tension between Hae-Na and Seo-Won.
Other cast members at the script reading were Yoon Hyun-Soo, Ryu Abel, Cho Jin-Se, Yoo Seung-Mok, Lee Seo-El and Song Young-Ah.
‘Similar to the webtoon’
Main cast members Park Gyu-Young, Cha Eun-Woo and Lee Hyun-Woo also spoke about their experiences on the K-drama.
Cha Eun-Woo said the cast members had “great chemistry”, while Park Gyu-Young asked fans for plenty of “interest and love”. Lee Hyun-Woo said the K-drama would be more enjoyable if fans noticed its similarities to the webtoon.
Interest in A Good Day To Be A Dog is high. Fans have been looking forward to seeing Park Gyu-Young, star of the Netflix drama Celebrity, and ASTRO member Cha Eun-Woo together onscreen. Photos taken last year when the K-drama filmed scenes in Seoul went viral across the internet.
