Boy group ENHYPEN are the ambassadors for this year’s Seoul Fashion Week, which begins today for the 2024 Spring/Summer edition. This news comes right after the group were announced as brand ambassadors for Italian fashion house Prada in June. ENGENEs responded to the news with delight, thrilled at the acknowledgement of the ENHYPEN’s status as fashion icons.
The group will make their first Seoul Fashion Week appearance at the Prada Mode event at cultural venue KOTE. Prada Mode is described as a “social club concept created to provide members with art programming, music performances and dining”. Last year, Prada Mode in Tokyo included music performances, conversations, a tea ceremony and original workshops, among other activities.
The official ENHYPEN account on X (formerly Twitter) shared a photo of members Jay and Sunoo in a vehicle on their way to Prada Mode. The boys appeared to be wearing the latest Prada designs, under a caption reading: “See you soon”.
ENHYPEN partners with Airbnb for Seoul Fashion Week
ENHYPEN also strengthened their presence at Seoul Fashion Week by playing Airbnb hosts. The unique partnership offered lucky guests an overnight stay at Seoul’s iconic Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). Besides exclusive passes to Seoul Fashion Week, guests were able to stay in a room supplied with snacks, drinks, and books all personally selected by ENHYPEN members.
The curated stay also featured Fashion Week-themed extras, including a special capsule wardrobe and a personal fashion runway. ENHYPEN also recorded a special video to welcome the guests, along with two special autographed Polaroids.
ENHYPEN leader Jungwon was quoted as saying: “We are honored to partner with Airbnb and DDP to bring guests behind the scenes of Seoul Fashion Week like never before. It’s so exciting to be part of the K-Wave movement, and share the magic of Korean music and fashion with the world.”
ENHYPEN release new Japanese single
Earlier today, the group also released their third Japanese single, YOU. The single album contains three tracks, an original Japanese song BLOSSOM, as well as the Japanese versions of Bite Me and Bills. A showcase for the new single release will take place on Sept 7.
ENHYPEN recently performed in Osaka as part of their second world tour Fate. They will return to Japan for a two-night performance in Tokyo from Sept 13-14, followed by shows in six US cities throughout October.
