ENHYPEN rules Seoul Fashion Week in style at Prada Mode event

ENHYPEN members were the center of attention on the first day of Seoul Fashion Week, stepping out as the event’s official ambassadors. The boys made an appearance at Prada Mode Seoul, dressed head-to-toe in the latest collection from the Italian luxury fashion house. ENHYPEN were appointed Prada brand ambassadors in June.

ENHYPEN members Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki looked stunning in their mostly-black ensembles. Images and video clips from the event immediately went viral on social media. ENGENEs praised the boys for their stunning and sophisticated visuals. Their Prada Mode appearance was also highlighted in the Instagram Stories of fashion magazines like W, Vogue and Allure.

Prada Mode, held at cultural venue KOTE, featured installations by directors Kim Jee-Woon, Yeon Sang-ho, and Jeong Dahee curated by Lee Sook-Kyung. It is the 10th iteration of Prada’s unique fashion-art experience that transforms a space into a traveling social club with a focus on contemporary culture.

ENHYPEN and Prada

Seoul Fashion Week is the first international event for ENHYPEN as fashion icons. Their relationship with Prada began earlier this year, after they appeared at Prada’s Fall/Winter Menswear runway show in Milan.

Following their appointment as brand ambassadors, members Jungwon, Jay and Ni-ki were featured in a campaign for Prada Eternal Gold. The images caused a stir amongst fans, as the boys modelled pieces from the sustainable jewelry collection.

ENHYPEN have also worn various pieces from Prada during their domestic and international appearances. This includes their recent performances for their second world tour Fate in Japan.

Topping Japanese music charts

Enhypen You single cover

Shortly after their Prada Mode appearance, it was revealed that ENHYPEN had topped the Oricon Singles Daily chart in Japan. Their third Japanese single, YOU, sold 273,491 units in its first day of release. This makes ENHYPEN the 4th generation K-pop group with the highest Japanese single sales for 2023, beating STRAY KIDS, TXT and TREASURE.

The single album contains three tracks, an original Japanese song BLOSSOM, as well as the Japanese versions of Bite Me and Bills. A showcase for the new single release will take place on Sept 7.

HallyuBeat wishes to congratulate ENHYPEN on this momentous achievement!
