Singer-actress Kim Sejeong will reportedly be a guest on an upcoming episode of IU’s Palette. Fans are looking forward to seeing her on the popular YouTube talk-variety show. At the time of writing, there has been no confirmed date for the broadcast.
Fans are also looking forward to a duet between the two stars on the show. Kim Sejeong has been a fan of IU for many years, and a collaboration would be a dream come true.
IU’s Palette is an online variety show which has been broadcast since 2020. The show’s format combines talk segments with musical performances, with IU and her guests performing each other’s songs and duetting. Recent notable guests include AKMU, SEVENTEEN, NEWJEANS, ITZY, BTS’ Suga and actors Gong Yoo and Song Kang-ho.
Fans speculated Kim Sejeong’s IU’s Palette appearance will be to promote her full-length album Door, released on Sept 4, 2023. The album is her first major music release in two years.
Others are looking forward to seeing the two idols talk about their mutual acting experiences. Like IU, Kim Sejeong has also acted in a number of popular K-dramas. Her most recent role was in season 2 of The Uncanny Counter, which finished its run on Sept 3.
