BLACKPINK‘s Rosé is the freshly minted Global Brand Ambassador for Rimowa, the epitome of luxury travel luggage. The brand announced the news on September 8, just one day before Rosé attended the grand opening of Rimowa’s 125th-anniversary exhibition in New York City.
A Superstar Entrance
For this red-carpet event, Rosé was the epitome of glamour, donning a crystal-embellished, high-neck bodysuit designed by Alex Perry. She complimented this show-stopping piece with a lush velvet miniskirt and added the finishing touches with sheer tights and towering black platform heels by Giuseppe Zanotti.
Rimowa, a jewel in the crown of luxury conglomerate LVMH Möet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, is celebrating its rich legacy with a global retrospective exhibition. Initially launched in Tokyo, the exhibit has now made its way to the heart of Manhattan. It will eventually culminate in Cologne, Germany, the birthplace of Rimowa.
The New York installation is a feast for the senses, featuring cutting-edge artistic collaborations. Presenting exclusive private collections, iconic co-branded endeavours, specialized functional pieces, and industry-shattering innovations. The exhibit, open to the public, will be at Chelsea Factory until September 17 and welcomes visitors from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST. Admission is gratis.
During this event, Rosé took part in the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, standing side by side with Rimowa’s CEO, Hugues Bonnet-Masimbert. Rimowa also revealed a charming new campaign starring Rosé. In it, she poignantly shares, “Home isn’t where we’ve been; it’s where we’re going.”
Rimowa’s latest star-studded campaign also features Kylian Mbappé, and Lewis Hamilton.
This marks the fourth global campaign for Rosé, alongside existing collaborations with fashion and beauty giants like Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co., and Sulwhasoo.
