The Korean Business Research Institute has disclosed September’s brand reputation rankings for K-pop girl groups, based on comprehensive data analysis from August 10 to September 10.
Three in a row for NEWJEANS
For the third month in a row, NEWJEANS reigns supreme with a brand reputation index of 7,674,756. Their keyword analysis spotlighted phrases like Super Shy, OST, and Billboard, while terms like refreshing, charming, and cute also scored high. The group garnered an impressive 89.82% in positive sentiment.
BLACKPINK Holds Steady
BLACKPINK retains their second-place standing with a brand index of 4,206,378, marking a 6.39% uptick since last month. The group is currently wrapping up their sold-out BORN PINK World Tour. The grand finale is set to be held over two nights on September 16 and 17 at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome.
Significant improvement for NMIXX
NMIXX catapulted to third place, boasting a staggering 111.26% increase in their brand reputation index, which now stands at 3,493,470. In October, NMIXX is set to host their inaugural fan concert, NMIXX CHANGE UP: MIXX UNIVERSITY. This marks the group’s first fan concert on Korean soil since their debut. The concert is scheduled for October 7-8 in Seoul and will feature a college student theme. Tickets can be purchased via YES24, with exclusive sales for fan club members starting on September 4 and general ticket sales commencing on September 6.
Close on their heels is IVE, with a brand index of 3,421,212, reflecting a 6.23% month-over-month growth.
Rounding out the top five in the Girl Group Rankings is LE SSERAFIM, securing a September brand index of 3,329,951.
