This activity is one of the fast food chain’s ongoing brand activities with K-pop girl group sensation NEWJEANS. The regional campaign began in South Korea before making its way to the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, and now Malaysia.

To encourage Malaysians to take part in the McDonald’s Chicken Dance Mission, McDonald’s will be hosting a special on-ground activation from Sept 15 to 17, 2023. During this period, individuals can visit the McDonald’s Bukit Bintang restaurant to record their McDonald’s Chicken Dance.
Furthermore, customers at the McDonald’s Bukit Bintang restaurant will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in an exclusive in-store experience and collect unique McDonald’s merchandise.
The grand finale of this exciting 3-day event, taking place on Sept 17, 2023, promises an array of programs from 5:30PM to 7:00PM MYT. These include a crowd-pleasing McDonald’s Chicken Dance performance and master class, as well as the thrilling McDonald’s Chicken Dance-Off Mission.
