Jungkook’s Vogue Korea interview: Summer Triumphs and Regrets

In a recent one-on-one interview with Vogue Korea, BTS’s Jungkook got candid about the highs and lows of his summer. The young star was elated by the warm reception of his solo debut single Seven, but he also expressed some reservations about his guest performance at Suga’s Agust D: D-DAY Tour.

Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, took the stage during Suga’s Agust D encore concert in Seoul this past August. He performed both Burn It with Suga and his own solo track Seven, featuring Latto.

Following the concert, Jungkook hosted a live broadcast where he admitted to a minor onstage mishap that went unnoticed by the ARMY. He detailed the incident and even inquired if Suga would allow him a do-over at a future concert.

While performing Seven, Jungkook removed his in-ear monitor, causing him to lose his sense of pitch. “I couldn’t hear the music clearly, so I wasn’t sure if I was going flat or sharp,” he explained. Despite the hiccup, he continued to sing, guided solely by the drumbeat. “It was a raw, unfiltered moment,” Jungkook added.

Whether we’ll see a replay of that performance remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Jungkook’s summer has been a rollercoaster of emotions, and he’s not afraid to share them. What do you think of Jungkook’s Vogue Korea interview?
