MBC has unveiled a new poster for their upcoming K-drama, A Good Day to Be a Dog, featuring Cha Eun-Woo, Park Gyu-Young, and Lee Hyun-Woo. The poster shows the three actors at the windows of a high school, setting the stage for a heart-pounding school romance.
The posters show Jin Seo-Won (played by Cha Eun-Woo), Han Hae-Na (Park Gyu-Young), and Lee Bo-Gyeom (Lee Hyun-Woo) fully embracing their roles as high school teachers. The fresh visuals against the backdrop of a school highlight the K-drama’s setting.
The poster hints at the characters’ relationships, with Seo-Won and Hae-Na standing side by side at the same window. A Good Day to Be a Dog is a fantasy romance drama based on a Naver webtoon. The story revolves around Hae-Na, cursed to transform into a dog after being kissed. Her colleague Seo-Won is the only one who can break the curse. The drama premieres at 9PM on Oct 11, 2023. Episodes 1 and 2 air consecutively in the first week, with new episodes every Wednesday thereafter.

Cha Eun-woo’s thoughts on the role
In a recent interview with Sports Chosun, ASTRO member Cha Eun-Woo, discussed his role in the upcoming K-drama. He explained: “I joined this project partly because I love dogs, and I found the concept of the female character quite interesting.”
The actor added that the unique premise is one of the drama’s charms. He said his character Seo-Won is someone who “appears cold due to his fear of dogs”. However, he adds that he is really a warm-hearted person.
Cha Eun-woo said he discussed each scene with the director and scriptwriter to best portray Seo-won’s growth throughout the series.
