It’s official, folks … BTS renews contracts and is set for a 2025 reunion! In a recent announcement, HYBE confirmed that all seven members of BTS have officially opted to renew their exclusive contracts with both HYBE and BIGHIT Music.
BTS: Chapter 2 is happening!
HYBE disclosed the news during a board meeting and later shared it with various media channels, including Sports Chosun. The contract renewals will be carried out sequentially, taking into account the individual circumstances of each member, such as their mandatory military service commitments. For members Jin and J-Hope, who are currently fulfilling their military service, their renewed contracts will take effect in 2025.
HYBE and BIGHIT Music expressed their commitment to bolstering BTS’s standing in the global music scene. “We will do everything in our power to support and elevate BTS’s status,” stated HYBE. As of now, the members of BTS are focusing on solo projects after taking a self-imposed hiatus from group activities.
Jin and J-Hope serve in the military, and Suga plans to enlist later this week.
RM Confirms Contract Extension via Instagram Update
Adding a personal touch to the official news, RM took to Instagram to confirm the contract renewals. He posted a glimpse of the contract document, followed by another story aimed at the ARMY, hinting that the much-anticipated full-group reunion in 2025 is now a certainty.
