This impressive achievement follows the previous Platinum certifications for Ditto in May and OMG in July. NEWJEANS continues to make waves in Japan, with ‘Ditto’ becoming the fastest track by an overseas female artist to reach 100 million cumulative streams on Oricon. The group will also release Gods, the anthem for the League of Legends World Championship 2023, on Oct 4, 2023.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa has secured a new world record with her chart-topping hit, MONEY. On Sept 27, Guinness World Records officially recognized Lisa for achieving “the first K-pop track by a solo artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify.” MONEY, originally featured in Lisa’s solo debut single album LALISA, was released in 2021. Lisa already holds several world records as a solo artist, including “first solo K-pop winner at the MTV Video Music Awards” and “most followers on Instagram for a K-pop artist.”
