YG’s BABYMONSTER Gears Up for November Debut

In a move that has fans buzzing with excitement, YG Entertainment has confirmed that their latest girl group, BABYMONSTER, is slated to debut this November. This marks the entertainment giant’s first girl group launch in seven years, following the meteoric rise of BLACKPINK.

BABYMONSTER’s Anticipated Debut

BABYMONSTER is set to officially step into the limelight this November, as confirmed by YG Entertainment on October 10. The group teased their upcoming debut by sharing a poster on social media that features their logo and the words “Coming Soon.”

A Shift in Debut Plans

Originally, YG Entertainment had planned for the group’s debut to take place in September. However, the agency decided to postpone it to ensure the selection of the perfect title track.

“All systems are go for their November debut, and we plan to maintain this momentum. We appreciate your continued interest and support,” stated a YG representative, as reported by Soompi.

Final Preparations Underway

The group is now finalizing preparations, planning to film the music video for their title track in late October. The members are also rigorously practising the choreography to ensure a flawless performance.

A Diverse Line-Up

BABYMONSTER boasts a multinational ensemble, featuring members Ahyeon, Rora, and Haram from South Korea, Pharita and Chiquita from Thailand, and Ruka and Asa from Japan. Initially, the group was to consist of only five members, but YG Entertainment’s founder, Yang Hyun-suk, announced the addition of Rora and Asa, citing fan demand as the reason for their inclusion.

Pre-Debut Hints

Before their official debut, BABYMONSTER released a pre-debut track, Dream, in May to preview their upcoming style.
