ENHYPEN returned to the limelight on The Kelly Clarkson Show, performing their enthralling single Bite Me just weeks before the Halloween festivities.
The ensemble—comprising Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki—donned sleek black leather capes, crisp white shirts, and coordinating trousers and footwear, captivating the audience with their dynamic stage presence.
The Lyrics and Choreography
The group’s chorus resonates with lines like, “It’s you and me in this world… Just come kiss me and bite me,” whilst executing complex choreography with finesse.
Chart Performance and Album Details
The song, a lead single from their latest album DARK BLOOD, has achieved notable success, peaking at No. 61 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and remaining on the all-genre tally for five weeks.
Insights from the members
In a conversation with Billboard, Jake said, “Bite Me diverges from our earlier lead singles but encapsulates the quintessence of DARK BLOOD quite effectively.”
Heeseung further elaborated, “The song’s highlight is designed to engross ENGENEs entirely.”
This marks ENHYPEN’s second appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, following their U.S. television debut back on November 23, 2021. During that visit they performed Tamed-Dashed from their album DIMENSION: DILEMMA.
