Expressing his gratitude, Jungkook credited the BTS fanbase, ARMY, saying: “I had faith, but the outcome was beyond my expectations. This success belongs to ARMY as much as it does to me.”
Delving into his album’s inspiration, Jungkook shared, “The term ‘golden’ resonates with me. My journey has been precious, and that’s why it’s the album’s title.”
The album GOLDEN showcases a spectrum of musical styles, reflecting Jungkook’s aspiration to master diverse genres.
Amidst the fanfare, Jungkook shared a light-hearted moment with host Jimmy Fallon. He revealed his quirky fear of microwaves, which had the audience in stitches. He also recounted an amusing moment where he fell asleep while streaming on Weverse. The incident drew 6 million viewers – which he described as both unexpected and embarrassing.

The episode’s climax was Jungkook’s debut television performance of Standing Next to You, the lead single from GOLDEN. Bathed in golden hues, his performance at the standing mic, complete with robust choreography and flawless vocals, was a spectacle.
