Gyeongseong Creature drops trailer, poster ahead of Netflix debut

Netflix is set to release its latest series, Gyeongseong Creature, in a unique two-part format. The first part of this eagerly-anticipated series debuts on December 22, 2023, with the second part following on January 5, 2024. This innovative release strategy promises to keep viewers engaged over the holiday season and into the new year.

Set in the spring of 1945, Gyeongseong Creature offers a riveting mix of historical drama and suspenseful creature encounters. The series tells the story of Jang Tae-sang, a sly information broker, and Yoon Chae-ok, a skilled missing persons investigator, as they navigate a world filled with danger and mystery.

Netflix also dropped the series’ official trailer and poster, raising anticipation for the series. The trailer grips audiences from the star. Faced with the urgent task of locating Commissioner’s missing lover before the cherry blossoms wither, Tae-Sang joins forces with Chae-Ok and her father.

Together, they embark on a perilous mission to penetrate the enigmatic Ongseong Hospital. Their investigation propels them headfirst into a clash with the forces veiled behind the city’s opulent exterior.

The poster juxtaposes the beauty of a sunset sky and cherry blossoms with the foreboding silhouette of Ongseong Hospital, suggesting a chilling mystery at its core.
