BTS’ RM, Jimin, Jungkook and V graduate from military training

BTS members RM, Jimin, Jungkook, and V (Kim Taehyung) have made headlines with their recent achievements in the South Korean military. The four, who began their military service last December, recently graduate from their basic training.

Photos of their graduation ceremonies in two separate training centers went viral online. This marks the next step in their ongoing military service alongside their fellow BTS members Jin, J-Hope and Suga.

Jimin and Jungkook

Jimin and Jungkook have graduated as trainees from the 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon. They are set to begin their military duties on January 18, joining fellow member Jin, who serves as an assistant instructor at the same center.

Both Jungkook and Jimin began training together utilizing the “companion system”. The possibility that they will serve together with Jin fosters a sense of camaraderie and shared experiences within the BTS group.

BTS’s Jungkook also updated fans on Weverse after completing his military graduation ceremony. He posted a single word, “Unity”, which immediately began trending worldwide. This update excited fans, who are eagerly following the members’ military journeys.

RM and V

Meanwhile, both RM and V were named Elite Trainees of the 27th Training Regiment following the five-week basic training course. They were two of only six elite trainees out of 200, a testament to their dedication and hard work.

V was also accepted into the Special Duty Team, an elite counter-terrorism unit. He will undergo an additional 3 weeks of training from January 18 to February 8.

Fans were also treated to an exclusive look at both RM and V in their military uniforms. The photos were shared on RM’s Instagram account (@rkive), and showed the two looking dashing and fit.

Jin, J-Hope and Suga

Meanwhile, Jin is expected to complete his service in June this year. J-Hope started his service in April 2022, and Suga is currently serving as a social worker. The group plans to reunite for full-fledged activities in 2025.

This news marks a significant chapter in BTS’s journey. Fans are hoping that the members will continue to excel and make their mark, even in their military service. ARMYs worldwide are showing immense pride and support for their achievements and eagerly await their return to the music scene.
