A viral post titled “Pledis Turning Other Artists’ Concerts Into One-Offs” criticizes Pledis for an article claiming SEVENTEEN, besides BTS, is the only group to have done a stadium tour. The post’s author argues that this statement diminishes the achievements of other artists who have also performed in stadiums.
“SEVENTEEN met with 700,000 fans in 9 cities over 20 concerts in Seoul, Tokyo, Saitama, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Bangkok, Bulacan, and Macau. The Japanese concerts were held in dome stadiums, and SEVENTEEN proved their ticket power by having performed in stadiums in Macau, Bangkok, and Bulacan.
