FIFTY FIFTY returns with Keena, 4 new members


ATTRAKT announced that FIFTY FIFTY will be making a comeback this year. The management label stated: “In order for FIFTY FIFTY to take flight once again, ATTRAKT held private auditions in search of the group’s new members. As a result, 4 new members were selected as the final members of FIFTY FIFTY in April. With the group’s original member Keena, FIFTY FIFTY will start fresh as a 5-member group.”

However, fans will have to wait a bit longer for the comeback. ATTRAKT added: “The comeback will be pushed back from June to September.”

ILLIT’s Wonhee to perform sitting down due to ankle injury

BeLift Lab provided a heath update regarding ILLIT member Wonhee. The label shared: “Wonhee sustained an ankle injury during filming this week and received a diagnosis and treatment at a hospital. It was advised that she wear a brace and minimize excessive movements.”

Despite the injury, Wonhee will still perform at the ‘AliExpress 2024 Weverse Con Festival’ on June 15, although she will remain seated on stage and not participate in the choreography. Entertainment Resort in Yeongjong-do.

HYBE global girl group KATSEYE announces debut


HYBE and Geffen Records’ new girl group KATSEYE will launch later this month. KATSEYE, composed of members Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, was formed during the reality music show The Debut: Dream Academy. The group’s debut single will be released on June 28 at midnight EST / 1 PM KST, kicking off their journey toward global pop stardom.

A second single will be revealed in July, followed by the release of KATSEYE’s 1st EP in August. KATSEYE will also be featured in a Netflix music docuseries titled Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.

Misprint on AESPA concert tickets sparks criticism


AESPA is preparing for their second world tour, 2024 AESPA Live Tour – SYNK: Parallel Line. However, fans who received concert tickets for Seoul were confused with the dates. The concert dates for Seoul are June 29 and 30, but their tickets had the dates misprinted as June 28 and 29.

Melon Ticket sent out a text message regarding the misprint. However, netizens questioned why the company would not resend the tickets. Fans had to pay a reservation fee of 4,000 KRW (US$2.90) along with the ticket price.

EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun is featured on the July cover of Dazed Korea, showcasing essential Burberry looks. Baekhyun accentuated his natural charms while also pulling off looks from casual to dressy to eccentric.

Meanwhile, Baekhyun and fellow EXO-CBX members Chen and Xiumin are currently in a legal dispute against their former agency, SM Entertainment.
