This summer, Junho brings his solo concert experience to the big screen. JYP Entertainment announced the exclusive release of “2024 Lee Junho Concert: The Day We Meet Again” in CGV theatres nationwide.
The film captures live performances from Junho’s sold-out solo concert held on January 13-14, 2024, at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul.
Fans, known as HOTTEST, can relive the special moments from the concert … Which featured a mix of Junho’s popular hits in both Korean and Japanese. This includes the debut of the Korean version of Can I.
BTS’ Jin Confirmed as South Korea’s Torchbearer for Paris Olympics 2024
BTS’ Jin, recently discharged from the military, has been confirmed as South Korea’s official torchbearer for the Paris Olympics 2024. HYBEl announced on July 3, 2024, that Jin will participate in the torch relay.
The torch relay … Which began last April in Olympia, Greece, will travel through 64 regions, including urban and coastal areas of France. It will conclude at the opening ceremony on July 27, 2024.
Jin, also known as Kim Seokjin, is not only preparing for the Olympics but is also working on new music, entertainment shows, and more. He is set to appear as a guest on the variety show “Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island,” his first show since military discharge.
ILLIT Maintains Steady Popularity on Major Billboard Charts
ILLIT continues to dominate major Billboard charts in the US, reflecting their ongoing popularity. According to the latest charts released by Billboard on July 6 KST, ILLIT’s debut mini-album SUPER REAL ME and its title track Magnetic have secured spots on the ‘Global (Excl. US)’ and ‘Global 200’ charts at 20th and 30th positions, respectively. This marks their 14th consecutive week on these charts.
Magnetic previously debuted at 91 on the Billboard Hot 100, while SUPER REAL ME entered the Billboard 200 at 93. This made ILLIT the first K-pop group to have both their debut single and album chart on Billboard’s main charts.
(G)I-DLE Fansite Master Faces Backlash for Unedited Photos of Shuhua
In an unexpected turn, a (G)I-DLE fansite master faced criticism for uploading unedited photos of Shuhua from a recent fansign event.
Despite the usual praise for Shuhua’s natural beauty, the photos sparked controversy among Chinese fans who accused the fansite of not “accurately representing” Shuhua’s appearance, leading some to label the fansite as anti-fans.
The fansite eventually deleted the pictures after the backlash. However, many fans defended the fansite, appreciating the unedited photos and insisting that Shuhua looked beautiful regardless.
Suzy Celebrates 14th Anniversary with Fans
