BLACKPINK’s Jennie Faces Criticism for Indoor Vaping

BLACKPINK’s Jennie recently found herself in hot water after fans spotted her vaping indoors in a now-deleted scene from her vlog. The footage showed Jennie holding a dark-coloured vape device while getting her hair and makeup done, followed by a shot of her exhaling smoke.

Although Jennie is legally allowed to smoke as an adult, indoor smoking is prohibited in South Korea and many other countries, including Capri, Italy, where the footage was filmed. Netizens criticized Jennie for violating these laws and doing so in front of her staff.

Jennie’s agency ODD ATELIER has issued a statement stating that it is verifying the facts and will provide an update once the investigation is complete.

Update

Jennie has since issued a statement on the matter via her agency.
