Byeon Woo-Seok’s Agency Apologise for Airport Controversy

Recently, actor Byeon Woo-Seok’s security team faced severe backlash for its “over-the-top” behaviour at the airport. A video circulating online revealed a security guard using a flashlight to prevent civilians from filming, sparking widespread criticism.

The CEO of the security team quickly admitted fault, stating, “It was the security guard’s fault for having shone the flashlight” and “We deeply apologize for making civilians uncomfortable.”

In response to the incident, Byeon Woo-Seok’s agency, Varo Entertainment, issued an official apology.

The statement reads as follows:

This is Varo Entertainment. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to the passengers at Incheon International Airport on July 12 during our artist’s departure.

Upon becoming aware of the security guard’s use of the flashlight on passengers, we immediately requested that he cease his actions. Although we could not fully recognize the detailed situation at the gate with security, we acknowledge our moral responsibility for the unpleasant incidents and deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused.

In the future, we will exercise greater caution and conduct more thorough checks to prevent similar situations from occurring. We apologize once again for any concern this incident may have caused. — Varo Entertainment
