BLACKPINK to hold offline fan meeting for 8th anniversary
In a special celebration of their 8th anniversary, BLACKPINK is giving 88 lucky fans the chance to meet them in person at an exclusive fan meeting. On July 19, YG Entertainment announced the details for this unique event.
Fans with a global fan club membership can participate by posting their fan letters, drawings, photos, and more using the hashtag #OUR_AREA_WITH_BLINK from July 19-26.

STRAY KIDS have made a sensational comeback with their new music video Chk Chk Boom, featuring surprise cameos from Hollywood superstars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The actors, appearing as their iconic characters Wolverine and Deadpool, brought their trademark humour and flair to the video, delighting fans worldwide.
Released on July 19, 2024, Chk Chk Boom is the title track of STRAY KIDS’ latest album ATE. The energetic beat, stunning visuals, and celebrity cameos have made this release an instant hit.

Virtual idol group PLAVE breaks NEWJEANS record
The virtual idol group PLAVE has set a new record by entering Melon’s prestigious Billions Club in the shortest time ever. On July 17, PLAVE achieved 1.00362 billion streams for all their released songs, securing their place in the Billions Club just 494 days after their debut on March 12, 2023.
This breaks the previous record of 498 days set by NEWJEANS. Additionally, PLAVE’s second mini-album ASTERUM: 134-1 recorded the highest streams among all albums in the first half of 2024, with the title track WAY 4 LUV amassing 104 million streams.
ENHYPEN sells 2.3 million copies of Romance: Untold
ENHYPEN has achieved a major milestone with their 2nd full album Romance: Untold, recording over 2.3 million copies sold in the first week.
Released on July 12, Romance: Untold marks the group’s first album to surpass 2 million copies in its debut week. Available in 12 versions, the album has easily surpassed their previous first-week sales record held by Orange Blood, which sold 1.87 million copies.
ENHYPEN is promoting the album’s title track, XO (Only If You Say Yes), on various music programs.
