Sweet Home Season 3 Episode 6 begins with Monster Hyun-Su realizing he can’t escape the bus alone. He reaches out to Human Hyun-Su, venting his frustrations about the Lee siblings. As he reflects on being a part of Hyun-Su, albeit an unwanted one, he wonders who would dominate if they merged. Ultimately, he integrates with Human Hyun-Su.
Hyun-Su’s Transformation and Reunion
Hyun-Su finally breaks free, now in his human form. He confronts Eun-Hyuk, who easily breaks off a piece of his wing. Hyun-Su sees it as a gift but asserts that Eun-Hyuk will help him with his mission at the stadium. He then joyfully reunites with Eun-Yu, who is relieved to have him back.
Journey to the Stadium
As they make their way to the stadium, Eun-Yu reminisces about their childhood with Eun-Hyuk, hoping he might regain some emotions. Eun-Hyuk, showing a hint of sentiment, acknowledges her healed foot from Season 1, bringing a smile to her face.
Seon-Hwa hides, while Ji-Na resists Dong-Jun’s attempts to take her there, feeling guilty for the trouble caused by her medicine. Despite her reluctance, Dong-Jun forcibly escorts her to safety.
Search for Yi-Su
At Bamseom, the Crow Platoon starts rounding up the survivors in the church while a different group searches for Yi-Su. Cheol-Jong encounters Jin-Guk, who initially wants to save Yi-Su but is convinced otherwise. They stumble upon a room of possessed humans.
While Cheol-Jong flees, Yi-Su possesses Jin-Guk. Watching this on CCTV, Sang-Won orders Chi-Seong to eliminate Jae-Jin and Ja-Young, seeing them as more effective in leading him to Yi-Su.
Lim’s Betrayal
Lim extracts a vial from Ja-Young’s body, revealing that all special Bamseom infectees (MHs) are derived from Sang-Won’s original body. While preparing to inject Tak with the serum, Lim learns from Tak that Yi-Su can infect humans. Realizing the vial’s true value, Lim swallows it himself, betraying Tak.
Disheartened, Tak returns to his men and meets Ha-Ni, who updates him on Kim and Chanyoung. To sneak the two men in, Tak distracts Sang-Won by revealing Lim’s betrayal and the origin of the Bamseom MHs. Enraged, Sang-Won destroys the comms centre.
Later, Tak finds Kim hiding in a bunker. They reconcile over their losses, and Tak confesses his condition. Kim urges him to hold on, promising to use him as a last line of defence once he turns into a monster.
Eun-Yu’s Transformation and Plea
Eun-Yu starts hallucinating, realizing she’s about to turn. She thanks Eun-Hyuk for returning and begs Hyun-Su to remind her of her emotions if she becomes a neohuman. She stays behind while Eun-Hyuk and Hyun-Su move on to the stadium. Hyun-Su vows to bring Eun-Hyuk back to her once they’ve dealt with the Bamseom MHs.
Chaos at the Stadium
Dong-Jun, rounding up survivors, encounters Yi-Su’s minions and flees. He passes Ye-seul and Jin-ok, who are still searching for Yeong-su. Yi-Su, holding up a transformed Yeong-su, believes the women will be horrified. Instead, Jin-ok tearfully embraces Yeong-su.
The episode ends with Yi-Su commanding her minions to attack Sang-Won as all hell breaks loose.
