BLACKPINK member Lisa has returned with a bang, teaming up with Spanish songstress Rosalía for their much-anticipated collaboration, New Woman. Released on August 16 at 9AM KST, the music video showcases Lisa’s signature style and Rosalía’s unique flair.
This track, released under Lisa’s label LLOUD in partnership with RCA Records, was co-written by Swedish singer Tove Lo. Hitmakers Max Martin and Ilya, known for their work with Ariana Grande, produced the song. The result is a visually quirky and stylistically bold music video that’s taking the K-pop world by storm.
A powerful duo
New Woman is Lisa’s second release under her newly established agency LLOUD. The track embodies the essence of modern womanhood – fearless, bold, and unapologetically powerful.
In the music video, Lisa and Rosalía channel fierce and mysterious personas. The two deliver high-energy performances that explore themes of empowerment and transformation.
Rosalía’s bilingual verses add a rich, cross-cultural dimension to the song, making this collaboration a standout in both the K-pop and global music scenes.
