Jisoo in talks for lead role in Monthly Boyfriend
BLACKPINK member Jisoo is reportedly in talks to star in a new K-drama titled Monthly Boyfriend. Fans are buzzing with excitement at the prospect of Jisoo gracing the small screen once again.

Park Ji-Hoon to star in zombie comedy drama
Actor and former WANNA ONE member Park Ji-Hoon may take the leading role in an upcoming zombie comedy drama titled We Are the Zombie.
We Are the Zombie is expected to be a comedic twist on the popular zombie genre, blending elements of horror, humor, and social commentary.
The drama will explore the lives of a group of characters who, after surviving a zombie apocalypse, find themselves dealing with the absurdities and quirks of their new reality.
Suga role with Samsung in jeopardy after DUI scandal
BTS member Suga’s recent DUI incident has put his brand ambassador role with Samsung under scrutiny.
On August 6, Suga was involved in a DUI incident that shocked both fans and the general public. Samsung, one of the major companies he endorses, has reportedly begun to reconsider their partnership with him in light of the controversy.
The brand also pulled advertisements featuring Suga, raising fears that he may be dropped soon. As of yet, neither Samsung nor Suga have commented on the situation.
Chanyeol of EXO debuts solo with Black Out
After 12 years with EXO, Chanyeol has stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist, debuting with his first mini-album Black Out. This new chapter in his career highlights his versatility and emotional depth as a musician.
Black Out features six tracks, with the title song of the same name standing out as a pop-rock anthem. Chanyeol also co-wrote two side tracks, I’m on Your Side Too and Clover. These songs draw from his personal experiences and memories, particularly his connection with EXO-Ls.
Chanyeol is embarking on a tour titled City-scape, starting with Seoul on September 6-7.
Squid Game star Lee Jung-Jae caught in legal battle
Squid Game star Lee Jung-Jae is embroiled in a legal battle, months ahead of its Season 2 premiere. The South Korean actor is facing serious fraud allegations from the CEO of a production company.
The lawsuit comes from Kim Dong Rae, CEO of RaemongRaein, the production company behind the hit drama Reborn Rich. Kim filed a lawsuit against Lee Jung-Jae and Park In-Gyu, the former CEO of WYSIWYG Studios, in June 2024. The lawsuit accuses them of fraud under the Specific Economic Crimes Act.
Lee Jung-Jae’s representatives vehemently deny the allegations. Lee has countersued the CEO for making false accusations, further escalating the legal dispute.
