Presented by DBKL and Think City, with support from the Ministry of Finance, this vibrant, three-month-long festival will feature over 100 dynamic events, including exhibitions, public art installations, fashion shows, performances, interactive tours, and culinary experiences—all set against the rich heritage of the city.

About The Show

The show, titled “Language of Craft in Contemporary Art, Southeast Asia”, presents a curated selection of Southeast Asian artists who seamlessly weave traditional craft language into their contemporary art practice.

This showcase celebrates the region’s rich and diverse artistic expressions, illuminating the intersection of age-old craft traditions with modern techniques and philosophies. In addition to contemporary works, CULT Gallery will feature pieces by master artisans, fostering a dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary art.

The accompanying public programming will delve into the intersectionality between craft and contemporary art across Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean.
