Alan Walker Returns to Malaysia for A Night of Electrifying Music

Gather up, Malaysian fans of Alan Walker! The internationally renowned DJ and producer announced today that he will perform on November 8, 2024, at KL Base, Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur, in a South East Asian-exclusive show.

This comes after a scheduled Malaysian show on June 22 that was part of the “Walkerworld Asia Tour Pt.I”, was cancelled following ‘a series of unfortunate events’ beyond the artiste’s control. This upcoming performance is more than just a show. It is Alan’s way of expressing gratitude to the fans who have stood by him with unwavering support, and to fulfil his promise of performing in Malaysia.

Seeking to clear the air regarding the previous cancellation, Alan’s team revealed that it was not a decision taken lightly after the team was alerted of several critical issues close to the date of the previous show.

A thorough report conducted by an independent third party had revealed safety concerns regarding the stage setup, as well as payment issues with local vendors from the previous show. Thus, to ensure the safety and well-being of Alan’s fans, while also upholding the standards of professionalism in the industry, the difficult decision was made to cancel the show.

In a sign of commitment to his fans, the 27-year-old producer-DJ will be personally funding this new concert, aptly named “Walkerworld Asia Tour Pt.II”, to ensure that the event not only takes place, but also ensures local vendors involved in the new show get compensated accordingly and creates an unforgettable experience for his fans.

“From the bottom of my heart, I want Malaysians to know they are valued and respected. If others fail to treat them right, I will be there to ensure they are. This isn’t just a concert – it’s a promise fulfilled, a bond strengthened, and a gesture of genuine love from me as an artist who truly cares for their fans,” said Alan Walker.

Realising that many ticket holders for the June event are still awaiting updates from the previous promoter regarding refunds, Alan and his team will complement the previous ticket holders to the new show and they will also be entitled to an exclusive discount of 15% if they choose to bring in their friends.

Best known for hits such as Darkside, Faded, and Alone, Alan is one of the world’s foremost DJ producers, and has previously collaborated with high-profile artistes such as Ava Max, Noah Cyrus, Sia, Bruno Mars, and Coldplay.

His most recent and fourth album, Walkerworld, was released in 2023. The show will be promoted by Livescape, previously known for organising music festivals such as It’s The Ship and Rockaway.
