TXT all set for November comeback
TXT is looking to make a swift return this November. The news comes hot on the heels of their successful ACT : PROMISE Encore concert in Seoul and the exciting announcement of Yeonjun’s upcoming solo mixtape.
This news is sure to send MOAs into a frenzy. Their last release, minisode 3: TOMORROW, achieved impressive commercial results both in South Korea and internationally, even charting on the Billboard 200. Fans are also eager to see what musical direction TXT will explore next and how their sound has evolved.
SEVENTEEN Seungkwan becomes face of Jeju Island
SEVENTEEN member Seungkwan has been appointed as the promotional face of Jeju Island, in the latest win for the young idol.
Seungkwan’s appointment is expected to boost tourism in Jeju, with fans and visitors eager to experience the island.
Born in Busan, Seungkwan spent most of his childhood in Jeju Island. This deep connection to the island makes him a perfect fit to represent its beauty and charm.
Min Hee-Jin seeks reinstatement on ADOR board
Min Hee-Jin, the ousted CEO of ADOR, has filed a court injunction seeking reinstatement as an internal director of the K-pop label’s board. This move marks a significant escalation in her ongoing legal battle with HYBE.
Min’s legal team argues that her dismissal was “unilateral” and violated the shareholders’ agreement with HYBE. Her original contract guaranteed her a five-year term as CEO, and was set to expire in November 2024.
The outcome of this legal battle has significant implications for the future of ADOR and NEWJEANS. Min’s reinstatement could lead to a reversal of HYBE’s decisions and potentially restore her position as CEO.
Former NCT Member Taeil’s case forwarded to prosecution
Disgraced former NCT member Taeil’s sexual crime case has taken a new turn. According to the Seoul Bangbae Police Station, the case has been forwarded to the prosecution without detention.
Investigations into Taeil began after a female victim filed a complaint against him in June. SM Entertainment officially removed Taeil from NCT on August 28.
Forwarding the case to prosecution without detention means Taeil will likely remain free until further legal proceedings. The prosecution will now review the case and determine how to proceed. This could involve pressing charges or seeking further investigation.
