Park Ji-Ah: A Talented Actress Gone Too Soon

The Korean entertainment world is in mourning after the tragic passing of actress Park Ji-Ah. Park Ji-Ah, best known for her role as Song Hye-Kyo’s mother in the hit drama series The Glory, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024, at 52.

Sudden Loss Due to Ischemic Stroke

According to reports and a statement released by her agency, Billions, Park Ji-Ah succumbed to complications from a cerebral infarction, also known as an ischemic stroke. She had been battling an undisclosed illness before the stroke.

Her performance in The Glory received critical acclaim, showcasing her talent and captivating screen presence. She also had roles in projects like Bloody Heart and Judge Vs Judge.

Remembering Her Legacy

News of Park Ji-Ah’s passing has been met with an outpouring of grief from fans, colleagues, and the Korean entertainment industry. Park Ji-Ah’s funeral will be held on October 2nd at Funeral Hall 2 of the Asan Medical Center in Seoul.
